Page Description

Use the Sample Type Search page to select the desired sample type from the list of sample types that matched your search.

Accessing this Page

• Enter one or more characters in the sample type search user defined field and click the Search button on the Order Patient Samples page. See the Order Patient Samples topic.
• Enter one or more characters in the search field, and then click the Search button on the Edit Order Entry Rule or Edit Split Order Rule administration pages. See the Admin: Edit Order Entry Rule or Admin: Edit Split Order Rule topic.

Selecting a Sample Type Search Result

1. If there was at least one match to your search, then the matching sample types are displayed when the page appears. Copia lists each sample type with the sample type name and its active status.
2. If the list is longer than one page, use the Page links, located below the list of sample types, to navigate through the list. If there are more page links than can fit on the page at once, Copia displays the Page field. Enter a number in this field and press the Enter key on the keyboard to immediately open the selected page.
3. Click the sample type Name to return to the preceding page with that sample type added to the field.
4. If no search results are found, use the field and Search button at the top of the page to search again. If you still cannot find the appropriate sample type, contact the Orchard Copia Administrator to create a new sample type using the Sample Types administration page.
5. Click Cancel to return to the preceding page without selecting a sample type.
