Use the Sample Collection page to create or modify the desired collection information for this order choice.

• Click the Add button in the Collection Information for this Order Choice section on the Order Choices administration page.
• Click the Sample or Container links in the Collection Information for this Order Choice section on the Order Choices administration page.
• Click the Add button on the Sample Collection Table administration page.

1. Select from the lists below to define the collection types. These fields are required.
• Tube/Container Type: Select the type of container. If you cannot find the desired tube/container type, you may create a new tube/container type in the Tube/Container Types page. See the Admin: Tube/Container Types topic.
• Sample Type: Select the type of sample. If you cannot find the desired sample type, you may create a new sample type in the Sample Types page. See the Admin: Sample Types topic.
2. Complete the fields below, if needed.
• Tube/Container Count: Enter the number of containers required for this order choice. You must use a numeric value. Copia defaults to one.
• Minimum Required Yield: Enter the minimum volume needed for the sample associated with this order choice. Copia uses this value in conjunction with the Maximum Yield and Units fields for the tube/container type to estimate the container count for each sample on an order.
• Collection Interval ___ minutes: Enter, in minutes, the interim between multiple collections. You must use a numeric value. Copia defaults to zero.
• Sample ID Suffix: Enter a sample ID suffix for order choices with multiple containers.
3. To edit the sample collection fields, highlight or delete text already displayed in the fields, then modify as desired.
4. Select or clear all checkbox options that apply to the sample.
• Protect from light: Select this checkbox if the sample requires light protection.
• Is combinable: Select this checkbox to allow multiple tests to be performed on a sample. Clear this checkbox to restrict Copia from allowing multiple tests.
5. Enter or modify additional collection information in the Sample Instructions field. Copia displays this information in the Instructions field on the Collect Samples page. See the Collect Samples topic.
6. Select the At User Request checkbox to display the sample instructions at the user's request. Select the At Order Save checkbox to display the sample instructions when the order is being saved. Select the At Selection checkbox to display the sample instructions when the order has been selected. These checkboxes appear in the Display Instructions section.
7. Click inside the Default Aliquot Label Group search field to search for a default aliquot label group, or click the magnifying glass icon to search manually. This is a search-as-you-type field. Select the Aliquot Label Group is combinable checkbox to disgnate that the selected aliquot label group is combinable with other orders.
8. Click the OK button to record changes and return to the Order Choices details page, or click Cancel button to return to the Order Choices details page without saving any changes.
